Join Tiny Toy Co. founder & OCT licensed elementary teacher, Rebecca Saha, in our west end Toronto space for this 1-hour upcycled craft workshop. With a focus on toy waste reduction, and kid-powered solutions to plastic pollution, kids will come away inspired to be part of the change our environment needs.
Each participant will make whimsical bottle cap magnets and Scrabble name ornaments. Each participant will also go home with instructions, so they can repeat the crafts with family and friends!
Ages: 6-12 year olds, with a maximum enrolment of 8 participants; parents are welcome to drop-off or stay and help, as preferred.
As always, a visit to the Tiny Toy Co. workroom offers the opportunity for families to tour the space and take a peek at how we're diverting toy waste for learning!
Note: our bottle cap magnet crafts use a non-toxic, no-VOC, liquid epoxy resin (INFO HERE) that will still be wet at home time. Epoxy takes 24 hours to dry. Adults will need to carefully carry their child's craft home while wet.
COVID-19 POLICY: Masks are welcome but not required. Hand washing and/or sanitizing is strictly enforced before and after handling of toys. Send us a quick email at firstname.lastname@example.org or text 416-602-4440 to cancel. Let's all do our part to keep others who may be vulnerable healthy.
