Kitchen Table Learning Strategies (Ages 4-8)

Invite Tiny Toy Co. founder and OCT-licenced teacher Rebecca Saha into your space and make your next event one to remember! Gather your friends and spend a powerful hour of learning how to support your children's learning at home.

Families will discover the power of our original loose parts learning activities, and parents will learn how to use everyday toys at home to enhance your child's literacy, numeracy, and cognitive skills. Each session will also include learning about how kids and families can play a part in toy waste reduction for the environment.

This workshop is suitable for kids aged 4-8, learning alongside a parent at each child's own level. Parents will come away equipped and inspired to continue using these learning methods with kids at home.

Bookings available on Saturdays and Sundays, year-round! Email to confirm your event date.

Cost: $200/workshop, with a maximum of 6 participating children/parents. Bookings available on Saturdays and Sundays, year round. Email to schedule your event.

Ages: 4-8 year olds with at least one parent per participant (required)

How much space do I need to host this workshop in my home: Please provide space for our three 6-foot folding tables (provided by Tiny Toy Co.)

How many kids and parents can be there? To facilitate optimal learning, this workshop has a maximum enrolment of 6 kids. It works best if you can bring multiple families together!

Can my partner and I both learn with our child? Yes, that's fine if preferred.

Can I include a child younger than 4? Can I bring my baby? Not for this workshop. This is a parent-child workshop aimed at showing parents how to work with their school-aged kids at home. Your enrolled child will need your full attention, and you will be learning how to replicate our activities at home. It is ideal to have another adult care for children under 4.
